Smells nice in here...

One sure fire way to rid your home of that *dog smell*...have your dog get into a bottle of baby powder, chew/pop off the lid portion and procede to distribute it all over the floor.

It's been over 12 hours since then and the house still doesn't smell like dog. However, the dog smells very doggy like. I think he's due for another washing. I wonder if they make a baby powder smelling do shampoo?

Yesterday I mentioned that I was chaperoning a class field trip to the (F-16) flight line. It was a great tour. The kids learned a lot, got to try on some of the equipment and we all had a great time! Below are some pictures of the from the trip.

Autumn trying on a flight helmet.
The kids also got to try on the parachute harness (but without the chute in it).

The kids had an opportunity to climb up to both side of the cockpit to learn about the various instruments, buttons and what they are all for. The kids were very inquisitive.

The entire class with the pilots who gave us a wonderful tour.
Thank you!

Time to hit the hay. Today was a loooong one. Hunter had his 2nd to last baseball game tonight while the girls had their dress rehearsal for the recital that is on Saturday afternoon. While it's been a great year between school and various activities, I'm ready for it all to be over. I'm looking forward to summer for a change. Not for the hot and humid weather we get here (yuck!), but for a simpler schedule. I plan on having some fun this summer and not be tied to a demanding schedule, though the kids will probably have swimming lessons again this summer.

I'll have some pictures from the recital tomorrow. Till then - goodnight or good day, depending on where in the world you live.
