The "blue wave afghan" is my largest crocheted piece yet. It was made in a double-crochet ripple stitch using a variegated blue, worsted weight yarn. At least one Christmas gift for my own family is now done. :) Please excuse the tails that still need to be woven in. That still remains to be done. Then I can wash and air dry it before I wrap it up for Christmas. This one is for Hunter.
This is one rippled end of the afghan.
This shows the other rippled edge of the afghan.
The sides of the afghan are straight edged.
Look at all those blue ripples! :) Waves all throughout!
Folded in half and draped over the sofa.
Unfolded and draped over the sofa. It's approximately 47" x 70".
