A new bed...

Last night my husband, for some reason, decided it was time to convert the crib to a toddler bed. I guess it was time, Sam is just over 2 years. And in our family, tradition has us transitioning the kids out of the crib around 2 yrs. We were missing a few pieces of hardware (this is the 3rd time we have converted it), so we had to make some *adjustments* with wood screws. It worked out very well and it's sturdier than ever!

Sam slept really well in her *new bed* last night. I thought she might use her newfound freedom and get out of bed throughout the night, but she didn't. She only got out once before her daddy kindly redirected her back to bed. She fussed a little but then she turned her music box on and it was sweet slumbering the rest of the night.

So we've hit another milestone - no more cribs!

Now it's time for me to look for some girly bedding.
